A happening place again

Post by buzzawak »

I really do miss the buzz the forum had a few years back.
I would hate to lose the wealth of acuminated knowledge collected here.
It would be great to see some new articles/ projects happening.
I am wondering if I can help in some way and what can be done to improve activity?

The issue is that forums, like this one, are being slowly removed due to Facebook and other social media.

Not sure if you were on the FZRArchives, but that has been completely removed, which is a shame because a lot of us built that site.

Yes I was on FZRArchives, it was a great resource. It is a pitty it wasn't preserved. If I could get my hands on the threads I would look at providing it a permanent home. Facebook lacks seachability and conversational rules like the forum. Facebook has provided convenience in exchange for about 15 IQ points. Any conversation lasting more than a few days become lost in the noise.
