Geographic map of members' locations

Post by ThisEndUp »

Just a thought.

Would/could it be possible to have a directory with member's locations?

So, does that mean yes, it can be done?

Some other forums have an alphabetical listing of members and their info.

That's what I was thinking of, I knew someone would think of it (otherwise it would mean I've lost it).

bah.. keeps crashing when I try to add myself..

I'll keep checking to see if I can get my location in there.. if not, I'll try to see if there's another map system out there that I can put on the page..

yeah it crashed on me once or twice too. I also tried to change the map style but it wouldn't display the map at all then. Great if you can find a better one unless this one stables out a little bit :duh:

I added my self.

I think there is a way to share Google maps among each other. With that we could all log on to a public map and add our selfs. If I have time I will look at it tomorrow.
