I've tried uploading on two different computers on two different networks. If i try uploading using the web browser, it just goes to a blank page with the address gallery2.php

If i try using the applet upload, it gives me this error at the end:
PICT0699.JPG: Error: Server contacted, but Gallery not found at this URL ( http://fzronline.com/gallery2/main.php )

That is odd. I just uploaded some stuff a week ago.

I deleted a few pictures too, and tried uploading a small one(170kb)...still didn't work though.

We'll see if Tommy made some changes... that way we can blame him.

Mine does the same when the pictures are to big.Resize your pictures and try again.Just get white screen and then nothing happens.Click back page and resize your pictures.

Sounds like you may need a new PC. LOL

I say resize your images. It works for me.

Hrmm. I haven't made any gallery changes in months; but you can blame me for my lack of attention. I will take a look at it tonight, or during the day today if I have a free second (ha!).

I get the same error with the Java Applet.

Thinking it may be a PHP memory_limit issue. I had set this to 64M using .htaccess files way back when, but running phpinfo() now shows this limit set to 24M. Methinks the host may have imposed a limit. I have a support ticket entered with them, we'll see what they come back with. Darrin, if you get their response could you pass it along to me.

It appears to be fixed...

I added ini_set("memory_limit","64M"); to main.php and install/index.php to get around the hosts setting of 24M. I found the information here, if anyone cares. Really I'm just mentioning it so if we ever have to do this again someone might remember this thread. It makes me a bit nervous that everything was running fine and it just stopped, but the bottom line is that it is now working.

how do you resize??? I have windows xp and for the life of me cant figure out how to resize the pics to fit in galler y

You can choose to edit in microsoft paint, when the program opens up go to the Image tab-->Stretch/Skew and enter in equal amounts into the vertical and horizontal boxes. 50% will give you half the picture size, etc.

Or when you're in the gallery, click add item and then click the upload applet tab, there will be check mark to resize the pictures.
