This is how i made my old fzr. In Greece there are just a few (on the road) fzr 400's. I had to pay a lot of money for fairings. I also always liked streetfighters. So i took the decision to make the all job.

I love it!
Clean. Stylish and you definitely updated the look of the bike.
What fairings did you end up using? And is that chrome/silver paint on the tank?

Fairings i mean the plastics of the bike. The tank is nickel plated. My tank cover is metallic, not plastic.
Here's one more picture from my galery

You did a very extensive restore job on that bike. Did you do any motor work when you were rebuilding the motor?

I have to agree. That is one of the nicest looking street fighters I have ever seen and liked. Im not a big fan of street fighters but I would ride that one all day.

Actually no. Nothing special. I only change the piston rings. And i made a very small modification on the ports. Well, it's only 400cc's and i don't think it's worthing to bother with. But what i really want to do, it's to put a 600cc engine on it. Then i'll do MANY things!!!
