A fun little project.

A customer brought me a Radio Flyer style wagon that he has had since he was a kid. It was about the only thing he kept from his childhood. It had seen better days. He asked if I do that sort of thing. I said sure, why not. He was in no hurry so I just did it while I had the color in the gun for other jobs. I haven't given it back to him yet but I'm pretty sure he's going to be pleased. Bring on the next 30 years!
This is how bad it looked when it came to me. It took a crazy amount of time just to get it apart it was so rusted.

Then it looked pretty good after some blasting.

A few of the satin black pieces still cooling.

I turned out a bolt for the handle as the original was long gone and he was using a fully threaded bolt to keep it together. I tapped it for an M6 allen and it all fits together nicely.

And the finished product.

Seeing if the pup would like it. He was kind enough to stay for the picture but that was about it. No wagons in his future.
