Not a warm welcome at the shop.

So I figured I'd get some work done in the shop last night...
To my surprise when I pulled up. Why hello snow drift.
Horray for a back entrance. Looks like that's where they pile the snow.
Once I got in and went to the front this is what I saw.
It was time to start shoveling. As per my lease agreement, I'm responsible for the sidewalk in front of my shop. Well this going to have to do because that crap was tiring.
I had another customer looking for a custom bottle for their kid so I got that finished up.
Then I finished up a wheel I was working on. It'll probably go on a build but at this point who knows.

Yea, I feel your pain. Not a nice welcome! We certainly got hammered up here in Lake County!
When I'm ready I think I may need to contact you for some powder coating. Nice work!

Yeah we did. The shops across the lot from me though had no snow build up. Damn their north facing doors!!!
I'll be around when you need it so just let me know.

Haha, I think it would be too much work for the usefulness.

Get some neat parts powder coated orange?
My girlfriend likes the water jug too. Might be a good bday present for her.

We were hit here pretty hard in St. Louis this past week. About 1/2-3/4" of ice with 12" of snow. That's a lot for down here. Snow is fine, but that ice will throw you in the ditch and I don't care what you're driving.

Amen. I'm 2 hours south of Darrin and in 09 we got almost 1.5 inches of ice. Just about crippled my little town. And then something like 1.5 million people in St Louis lost power.
