New England Ride - Photos

Post by WSM »

I just returned from an eight-day, 2,162 mile ride through OH/PA/NY/MA/ME/NH/VT and back.
It was a blast and I am seriously contemplating taking my FZR600 on my planned 3-4 month long tour of the states next summer (with a few mods: seat, saddle bags, horn, etc.), rather than find a larger tourer (FJR1000, R100RT or the like).

Anyhow, I just wanted to share a couple photos from the ride.
Enjoy!

Oh, and Route 30 along the Pepacton Reservoir in NY is some of the most amazing road I've ridden!

I can't even make it from Jackson to Cape Girardeau, MO without my arms, hands, and backside hurting. And that's only 18 miles. Granted it's in the morning when I don't have so much blood flow yet. I just did a 150 mile ride with the gf and it wasn't so bad. So what I'm saying is that looks awesome, I would have loved to go. Did you go by yourself? Some of the pictures could be on a timer but I was just curious. Hit any rain or anything?

Chris.

Really cool trip and pics. Saying it was fun may be an understatement. What do you shoot with?

I've had a Nikon D80 for the last 4 years. All those were shot with a 50mm 1.8f lens.
Motorcycles and photography are two things I can't live without.

A lens that is handy for most camera bodies. I always have mine in the backpack for my Canon.
