Sadly this one is heading to the cabin in WY so my dad has a way to get around. Still, I get to play with it for a chunk of the summer.

2005 WR450F with 575 miles on it. Whoot!! Front end has 11.8" of travel. Ohhhh yeahhhh!

damn man, nice pickup. i have a ton of trails right out my back door, and dont take advantage of them. might start looking for a dirty bike for some fun also. me jealous

fit brush guards on the bars saves a great deal of on levers & thumped fingers . Run a loop of twisted type wire (miniture hawser style stuff) from the frame & to the rear brake lever & the gear shifter. stops grass /twigs/ branches from jamming up the back brake / gear shifter unexpectedly or when you NEED them )

friends who ride in wilder parts bin the original engine guard & fit a longer one to protect the gear box as well from sharp rocks & iron wood branches. Had two pieced when the bike slid forward off the front section and thumping the rear engine case at virtually a stand still. No fun to push home thro the bush I am told in very explicit language :-}

That's a lot of bike, Nate. Any trails up by the lake out there?

I just picked up an old 1987 KDX200 for my 14 year old to ride. Time to hit the trails!

I haven't been on dirt in over 20 years. There is supposed to be a park a couple hours south of me with 2000+ acres of trails, so I may have to take the family some weekend.

'Bout time, the most fun you can have with yer clothes on, I would say good clean fun but then again river crossings and mountain springs make good mud baths , though you will go along way to beat Orapouche caves mud. 100 meters across at times with a big rock to sit on half way, leave the bike running in neutral, no stand, be good for at least two cigarettes LoL before taking on the second section of mud .

Well sadly I only have this guy for the summer. Then it heads off to be stored in WY where there are PLENTY of trails out the back door but I only get out there about once a year. So I'll see what is around here but I probably won't get a whole lot of time on it.
