My new FZR600 '92

Post by Guga »

Hi guys! Just got my bike yesterday ehehehe jumped from a DT125R that did around 150km\h and took ages to get there, to a bike that...well im still :yikes: with it HEHEHE first times almost get scary! :P lots of power there! hehe

So im a big fan of streetfighters but the kind of streetfighters that dont loose any kind of driveability and sport performance if you know what i mean, i wouldnt use crome acelerators and stuff for looks if rubber seems nicer and best for using.

So lets get to some PICTURES:

Guga,
neat looking machine, please put your location in your personal profile so we know you have a different model of bike (ie european) to most of the list. It helps if you get problems and need help with diagnosis.

wonder what the title reads, or if their is one... i do like the bike tho and if it is a litre frame i'd throw the litre motor back in it and stunt it or race it if it has no title :headbang:

Definitely NOT a 1000 frame. That's not even an FZR frame...period. As matter of fact, that's a 96+ 4JH ThunderCat (YZF600) frame-along with the engine. The subframe style gives it away . The Fox Eye FZR600R frame had a slightly different configuration. The forks look to be 90-92 FZR600 3HE. Guga, welcome to the site. Your bike has a lot of potential there.

well the swingarm is a YZF swinger and I dont see why it would be on a liter frame. never seen the thundercat stripped down before but it being alluminum was a curve ball for sure.

Duane, new picture eh? Is that windscreen purple?? lol

Say what? :yikes: holy...

It says FZR600 on the documents and everything...maybe the guy had the doccuments of a fzr and bought a yzf with no docs, and used his license...damn for now im fine and im happy the bike should be better as its newer, but if bike inspections really start in portugal then im screwed...

Here is a thundercat, and my forks are exactly the same at least they seem, the bottom...and the frame, you were right, its exactly the same...damn

Wasn't what we call a YZF600 in the States still an FZR in the rest of the world? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
