those things are so awesome. i've never actually attempted to make one, i imagine they're tough as hell though :duh:

Meh... If you read a little farther down the page it says he still has trouble starting it on cold mornings, and that the race tank makes him refill the tank with an eye dropper every ten or twenty feet, but overall, I think it turned out pretty well. :rofl:

Did anyone else notice that he did the equivalent of micro-bondo to most of the pieces?

The YZR-m1 model is definitely not as impressive as the ferrari model. That guy not only made a working miniature engine, but also a working miniature transmission.

Also, he didn't simply pop some plastic pieces out of molds and glue them together, he machined every part and If I recall correctly he even molded his own tires.

Let's see someone make a replica yzr-m1 with that extreme attention to detail.
