aww , i thought it was going to be something fast , we used to have an old snapper riding mower , we did all kinds of crazy stuff to that thing , it'd do 45 down the street and you could lift it up in any gear , good times .

Toro and Aprilia joined forces at one point to fabricate this race lawnmower.
It started out as a 6.5 hp machine, but with extensive porting work, high compression pistons and timing changes .....it now produces 120 hp (at the crank).
This is my racing mower that I converted back to lawn guise. It is a bit de tuned.
Sponsored by Race Tech.....they suck at bikes, but are great at mowers.
If I change the pistons down to lower compression , I may set this puppy up with NOS.
O.K.,
Time for one more Scotch.

alright, it looks like we have some "unlimited class" mowers up there. no doubt packing some nos bottles in there.
it looks like thisendup has a good machine for competition with mine. but i dunno, does that thing have front wheel/all wheel drive? i'm not sure if that's legal or not. with that much hp, it needs to be awd.
tonight, i lured my neighbor into a 12 lap race. i put on this little act to make him think he can take me...
then, once he took the bait, i went back to my pits and changed into my spidi suit. once the green flag dropped, it was ONNNN! i launched off the line so hard the neighbors and their cat are like whoa...
coming down the street and seeing the action, the neighborhood bus driver wanted a little bit of the action. unfortunately, his tries weren't warmed up enough and he low sided it going into T1.
kids were spewed all over the road from the bus. but when they realized their ride to school just got taken out, they were gong absolutely crazy!
i was on lap 3 and making great time until one of the kids was in the raceline. i tried to change my line, but it was too late. contact...
oh well. rubbin is racing, you know...
my original competitor, i mean neighbor, realized he was bout to get lapped at the halfway point, so he turned it up a bit. as i approached him coming into the chicane, i could see him really getting a good hang off his kawasaki mower.
despite his best efforts, his dunlop qualifiers could not take the all out stress of competition. the next lap, he wadded it up in T5 and sent the corner worker flying.
(poor guy. we was hosting the bbq tomorrow night) well, best of wishes getting out of the hospital for next weeks block bbq man...
ok, part two to be continued. i gotta go get more juice before i run out and get mad...

The wife won't let me race at the moment because of last year's mishap in the garage.
The article is from the AP.
Lawn mower catches fire in New Jersey garage, blaze destroys home
The Associated Press
Published: August 15, 2007
NJ: A man in the U.S. state of New Jersey started more than just his lawn mower when he tugged at its pull cord — he started a fire that destroyed his home.
The mower exploded Tuesday in hot, parched conditions.
ThisEndUp was trying to start the mower in the garage of his two-story brick home in this Jersey suburb when the machine burst into flames. Before he could extinguish the fire, it had spread through the garage.
Then his wife tried to toss a can of gasoline out a window as the blaze spread, but she missed, spreading the fuel "everywhere," ThisEndUp said.
The flames engulfed the house in less than a minute. The couple escaped without serious injury.

Nah, it's off the rack ...Teknic FireBall.
I have to have someone to guide me to the mower, whenever I wear the suit. Visibility is an issue.
At least it's racing red. Red is the fastest color, you know.

I hear mower racing is big in the U.K.
I'm surprised YamahaGeorge hasn't chimed in.
I also hear the Queen mother likes to go to the races quite often. She says it's more exciting than polo.

He's been quiet for a few days, says he was active this morning but he hasn't posted since the 29th.
