just wanna see what people think about the bike so far this is the original way i got it flat tire and all,

actuall its an r1 tail,lol i dont know i was thinking the same thing but i kinda like it. the angle of the slope in the back of the seat is the exact same as the slope of the end of the tail so it kinda looks like its suppose to be there. maybe ill consider something different ill look into it. any body got any other opinions about it, thanks by the way guys

ya i have been thinking of painting the frame im getting deployed soon though and my schedual has been crazy i dont have the time to take everything apart. i think im gonna go with the yzf tank when im done with the front end im currently working on. what years fits the best. i think i remember reading something about a gap between the frame and the yzf tanks if im not mistaken. well if any one has some info on the tanks thanks

if im not mistaken arent the yzf tanks actually tank and not just tank covers how would i go about mounting the air box or are there certain years that are tank covers to

toward the end of my thread you will find out alot of info on tank mounts, and then there is also heathdog's howto, and alot of guys on here have done it also all with a little bit of a twist differently. for the airbox, you can cut it done, do a hybrid yzf/fzr box, or go with pods. I would be glad to answer questions once you take a look around. Good luck.
1 other thing is the yzf750 tank seems to fit pretty good. check that out here:

Speaking of tanks, you might also want to look at 89-95 FZR1000 tanks as well. It's been confirmed that they will the FZR600 frame.
