*Road Trip* 56k beware

Last Thurdsay I left for a week long trip through Virginia around the Chesapeake Bay area. It was my first long motorcycle road trip and I only covered about 850 miles in those 7 days. I got the bike back together on Tuesday so I didn't have much to diagnose any problems. I did fry a VR on my way down, luckily I wired in a volt gauge and brought a spare VR so no problems there. On day 4 we got caught in a storm near Virginia beach and it rained almost 2 inches that day. Apparently my gas cap seal isn't very good because I got a good but of water in my gas tank. It would not start at all that morning and after a lil diagnosing I pulled the gas tank and the fuel line off the carbs, primed the fuel pump and sure enough had water shoot out. Once I saw gas come out, I plugged it in and it fired right up.
It was just my buddy and I on the trip. I was riding my '92 fzr600 and he was on his '74 CB750. He had some clutch slipping issues, especially towards the end of the trip.
We met a ton of cool people. Got some good tips on roads and areas to hit. We didn't have much of a plan as where exactly we were going or where we were going to stay, but we managed to find somewhere to pitch our tent every night.
We got really lucky when we left on Thursday because it was raining all day, but as soon as we caught a break in the weather we took off. We ran from the storm for about 2 days before we got caught riding in it. Then it cleared up a bit on day 3 and raining all day on day 4. Besides that, it was clear skies but pretty chilly until day 6 and 7. All we did on day 7 was lay on the beach and get some tans.
Anyway on with the pictures...
Here's a general outline of where we rode

Here we were paid by visitors in the middle of the night. See the tunnels in the sand?
