haha i must be good...ok heres the stock stator opening...now look at my 1st 3 pics to see whats different at the stop of the stator where it didnt fit.

I was only seeing the left half of the pics and thinking " whaaaaaat?"
I saved one to desktop, looked at it and thought "I see now!"
