you can see why I call her ugly





She needed a cleaning and some love today, hadnt really touched her since Nov when I got her. She lives at a buddys garage collecting some dust when he doesnt ride her.

Got an oil change, removed some of the fairing bracketry that was left on by the PO who trashed all the fairings......replaced some lights in the gauge cluster, and the speedo cable, and the speedo. the cable was bad, and the needle fell off the gauge



I need to get a new flasher apparantly, and I have a pair of black r6 mirrors I need to drill a hole so I can mount them and put the one mirror back in a box.

Geeze! That's the ORIGINAL sprocket too! That bike is like a nice old well-worn pair of jeans. Who wants to throw it away ? I bet you can turn it into a sweet looking / running bike with enough work. Parts, especially fairings / tank covers, seem to be all over E-bay recently. Hopefully the engine is in good condition ? What are your plans ? To keep for yourself / ride ? Or to fix-up and sell ?

At least it looks decent enough to HOPE for great things !

I'm thinking of a spruce up pseudo fighter/cafe bike..........

done some work..........seat cowl, R1 mirrors, trimmed up a busted upper and threw on a small part of a windshield. Newer front seat, tach, signal flasher...tail light, clutch.

I am thinking I want to trim some more off the bottom where it would meet the lowers if it had any, and the 'handguard' area.

Well if you want to sell her you let me know. I have a buddy who is looking for a bike. Might as well be one I know backwards and forwards in case he has problems.
