Takin' the back roads...

What a beautiful afternoon yesterday! Since I knew that there weren't going to be many left I decided to take a trip with a friend. I had the camera mounted.
I hope you enjoy! (Note: The throttle was stuck wide open and the clutch cable broke, so that's the reason for the excessive speed!

Very nice video. Looked like a beautiful day as well. You were not the only bike out there either.

We actually met up with another group of riders from midmoriders.com. Nice bunch of guys. Every Harley ride waved that we passed. Must have been a good day for everyone.

I bought a bracket off of eBay and mounted my older Sony Digital 8mm camera. It's heavier so it's more stable, plus it has Steadyshot built in. Does pretty good for an older camcorder.
Here is the bracket I bought:

Yeah, I sped it up 3x normal speed. It's like 55 MPH through the whole thing and they'll have blind corners with signs that say to slow to 50 MPH.... I LOVE IT!
One thing I recommend to anyone who goes on roads like this after a Track Day is to soften the suspension. I was absorbing every bump.... if you know what I mean.

On the track, I did set my chin on it quite a bit and it got in the way of my arms moving around when I was off the bike, but on this trip I didn't notice it.
I wasn't going fast enough, in the corners, to need to get that far off the bike and I am pretty reserved in the straights.
