Gave the grrl a ride

Post by reelrazor »

Hey there.

Just a coupel pics. I rode about 300 miles yesterday and the grrl was hounding me for a bit of a ride (with her-she needs to get her own bike!).

Today was mid 70°'s and this evening actually got muggy. She called while walking her dog, and I told her to get the dog home asap and I would take her out for one last night cruise. Big moon out, like 68°.

'Bout 2 mile outa town my brake drills paid off as I had both tires chirping on the verge of lock to not hit the buck that ran out in front of us. That got the heart pumping(and her mashed up against me-ha!).

I rode her up to Mackinaw City. The pics are in the parking lot at the base of the Mackinac Bridge.

Very nice! The wifey and I like to ride on sunday evening. That's when we leave the kids to fend for themselves.

Yeah. I wanted detail on the bridge so I had a long shutter and took the shot with timer, that and rear curtain flash gets you that effect.

Too bad I didn't have a tripod with me, that config is really cool when the camera is really stable.
