but hey, that's better than i do. if my tires leave the ground, it's only cuz i've crested a hill and one or both tires come off. i'll start trying once i get my ktm back i suppose.

ahh you gotta start somewhere. There isnt a rider out there doing wheelies who didnt start by pulling it up until he finds her sweet spot. It isnt as easy to ride one out on these 600 fizzers. they are too heavy and the rider position isnt like the new bikes.
Now Rage lets see that gixxer look at the clouds... or abs on his 954

i did a scary one tonight on the 954 ... in the parking lot... not wearing any gear. very NOT like me. I kinda gave myself a good scare, amazing how all my gear must add another 10 pounds normally, and on top of that i gave it a damn quick crack and felt like it went almost vertical... but not quite. after a long crappy day at work and one of my bunnies near death it sure woke my arse up.
i hope she makes it to morning, took her to the vet, some terrible infection, she won't eat or drink, extremely weak, lost a lot of weight too.
Topic: My wheelie video is on YouTube... about half-way thru the video until any wheelie shows up though.

what kind of sprockets are you running , and how high did you hit the rpms before you let the clutch out ? im assuming you did a 2gear wheelie on FZR right ?

I have a 520 kit with 14-47 sprockets. I clutch it up @ around 6-7000rpm. That means 6-7000rpm, then clutch inn, 10000rpm, clutch out.
