Lookin good. I'd say paint the rims black. Another thing that would look good is if you took some nightshade and sprayed the taillight.

Go with silver or black on the rims. Depending on how much you want to spend I would o with powder coating.

Try and paint them the same color as the frame? Good paint job

Doc,
Nice work, painting rims is always a problem unless you etch them first the paint is easily scratched and chipped . I always powder coat
Since the vote seams to be for black that will be a cheap deal @ the coaters as is white & silver (although the silver may not match the frame silver) as those 3 colours are the most used for bulk jobs & you can usually sweet talk the operator to put yours thro with a paying job

With that colour blue you need white detailing to pick it up and make it look great rather than just nice. You can see what I mean on:-

http://www.saltmine.org.uk/kgb/bluestreak.html

the "french blue" was rather uninteresting till I added the white and a darker blue stripe

When you gettin that nightshade? Looks pretty good. I take it you're not gonna buff it at all? You know some blue pot calipers would look gorgeous on your bike!

I got some blue dot calipers off of a 97 YZF600 if you're interested. I won't be asking too much for them. I'll be listing them tonight. Keep your eye on the "for sale" section.
