Yeah ... Black and gritty coming out of carbs or rad is rarely a good thing! Given what you've seen so far, I hope you're also changing and flushing your oil and brake fluid?

This be the helmet. TMS dual visor. Has front breather, dual air exhaust on rear, and dual visors; the one inside is tinted and has a switch by the ear to flip it up :)

Yeah, I ordered a new k&n oil filter, still waiting on that.. Never thought about the brake fluid.. I guess I should give it a look, huh?

Probably better to replace the lines with SS lines anyhow. Since you seem to plan on keeping her might as well treat her right.

It has a Mr gasket fuel pump on it.. After I put the carbs on I noticed the fuel line gets kinked the way the po has it mounted.. So I need some no kink lines, and a new mounting bracket

So before I took her out, I dressed 'er up a little bit. Did the high temp paint on headers and half of the slip on.

I painted the windscreen (It was flat black/chipped/scratched) since it looked odd, I masked out some stripes on the rears and matched em.

After everything was done, she doesn't look perfect, but she sure does make me happy :)))
