you asked for it

Here are some semi-recent pictures of my bike. Affectionately known as the Blue Meenie. I would like to point out that it is constantly changing so doesn't quite look the same. Little bit about the bike... i bought it pretty much bone stock a year ago, rode the hell out of it, then i got rear ended in a hit in run last fall. It was totalled, but had a straight framed and forks, and all the essentials were there, so i got creative. stage 3 jet kit, pod filters, 520 conversion with 47t rear sprocket. oh and it has a suicide shifter. :headbang: I don't have pictures of the current set up, but i have some pics of my first attempt. my proof of concept. I'll try to get more recent pics. if you have any questions (most people do) feel free to ask away. RRBike

That's the best of both worlds right there. I see the engine still looks perty. :shocker

Pretty wicked looking.

I'd be nervous about not having a clutch handle anywhere accessible during emergency procedures. Typically suicide shifters have the clutch on the left foot. I would not want to have to come to a quick stop with only one hand the bars. Yikes.

well they don't call it a suicide shifter because of how safe it is... i can still handle it pretty well.

first pic looked like the speedo and tach were cup holders thats, what i gotta get. going to work i can never get coffee used to wedge the cup between frame and fairings but i lost it about 50% of the time

that thing is wicked awesome! i personally would not do any type of streetfighter setup on my fzr, but i respect everyone's tastes and work that goes into the bike. i really like how it looks without the tail at all, just stops after the seat...sweet. great work man, keep it up :shocker

thanks guys. well i just put in ford coil packs and hardwired my fan to a toggle switch... it's lowered about an inch... i shortened the swing arm about 2 inches... the speedo on the bar is for a bicycle but it's supposed to be accurate up to 180mph. radar detector is mounted up front too. i'm sure i'm missing stuff. but i don't have specific plans for it. i am constantly having new ideas and many of them are terrible lol. i kind of wing it.

thanks it's good to be here lol the battery is under the seat right up next to the gas tank. and i'm always trying to perfect the exhaust. with nothing it's a bit too raspy and gives no backpressure. turns out certain aerosol cans (axe' fabreeze and any other that size) slip right over the exhaust when you cut off the bottom. so that allows me to clamp it with a hose clamp and drill it until i get it right. right now i have a homemade muffler that doesn't sound too bad and gives about the right amount of backpressure for my bike. looks a little odd though... lol

Wow never thought Id see an fzr like that. You gotta do something about the fuzzy seat, it throws off my mojo. Clean up that shifter too...Other than those two things, very sick ride.
