I know it's quite a leap from my 600. Heck I know it's a leap from a carb 1k, but I got it at a steal, so I had to pounce. Either way it needs a little work, all cosmetic. I think I can have her up and ready in about 5 days. 2006 17,000 miles, a few more than I wanted but it got down to this one or another one and the guy sold it out from under me while I was on the 2 hour drive to pick it up. His was a 2004 and this was an 06 which they had added the steering damper and the different clutch.

I had to add it to photobucket because the files were too large. I will add some photos when I get home too.
Don't mind the crap in the background (not the FZR, she's not crap) I had to put it in the shop and we are getting ready for a large yard sale.

She is indeed sexy. Now get modding! And if you need anything for that lady, you let me know.

Thanks Darrin, I got her about a stones throw from your house. Ever heard of Royalty Racing (if you have and it's bad, just break it to me easy)

Nate, So far I haven't found anything mechanically I need, but someone has changed some parts I don't care for (ie. the blue windscreen), and I'm sure there is always a need for some pc parts. Also I will still get a chain and sprocket set from you, just this purchase put me behind a little bit. ;)

Mechanically...hahaha, silly Chris. You have a bike they make parts for now. I was talking more on the lines of Marchesini wheels, levers, Scorpion exhausts...you know, the good stuff. :headbang:

My uncle and I have been talking about if it would be feasible while I am on spring break. Or at least the half week after semester before summer school starts up. Soon.

Took her for a test spin today, even though it's 38f, first I noticed that the shift arm was bent because she was laid over on that side, so I decided to try and bend it back out....sheered it off. So after finding a suitable replacement, case bolt with some plastic spacers, I was ready to go...until I realized that I didn't have a license plate holder because of the fender eliminator kit.... Anyway off I went........off I went indeed. Holy smokes.....

First world problems is there is nowhere on the tank to mount my suction cup for the go pro.

Agreed. And I thought about putting it on the fairing but I didn't want to have to worry about it fallin off while on the first ride. I was trying to listen to everything else.

And if best buy would have sold the contour so that I could have bought it for 150 off retail I would have. haha.
