There used to be a giant dent in his swingarm. That was the extent of the fix. We pulled it out as smooth as we could with a slide hammer and then filled in the low spots with some weld.

I really need to learn to weld. that is awsome how you guys fixed that.

woo! it was my first time welding too! Nate's been the brains and the brawn behind the welds but I got to do my sloppy job, just like most things in my life....

Has anyone ever added aftermarket gauges to the fzr in addition to the stock gauges? Like a stand alone voltmeter or something? I was thinking about getting one. Also, my frame, swingarm, engine arms headers and wheel went into the powdercoater yesterday. should be done next monday!

I was kinda thinking of something like this

Yep, I actually added a voltmeter and a new heat gauge into my tank cover....

Very cool! Does your stock temp sensor work then as well? or was it one or the other.

They actually both worked.. The reason is that I left the thermal unit in there that sends the signal to the stock gauge.. But I removed the thermal switch which turns on the fan since I have a switch wired in anyways, and plugged the aftermarket gauge into the spot where the thermal switch goes..

If you understood that.. lol

.. As it is now, since I've put in the 600 motor, I completely removed the stock temp gauge and in the future I'll be putting in an oil pressure gauge in that spot. I have the gauge, just need a double banjo-bolt to get it working..

well, its not time quite yet for the super amazing update, but i'm pretty pumped on this.

Got my shock rebuilt and a new line made from a guy in Wisconsin. $100 to rebuild my WP shock. Apparently WP parts are difficult to get nowadays so I'm excited he was able to throw it together. The spring had some knicks in it already and so did the reservoir so it doesn't look brand new, but god damned if it doesn't have a hole in the line and the functionality of it is restored!

Next week.... ROLLING CHASSIS!

Yeah pink is teh nasty, but i was talking with TK, might just make a black sleeve or somethign for it.

I dont remember if it has been discused or not, but is are the fairings getting new paint as well?

yup, started sandin em today, a few pieces need some fiberglass so that will be happening probably last after the bike is up and running. I'm trying to get it done i'm trying!

Oh sexy pictures to taunt Dillon. I can't even tell you how the pictures of this wheel just don't do it justice and I consider myself a pretty good photographer. It's just too sexy.
