Re: Zero9243's Rebuild (New Pics 6/10/2009)
No pics yet but yesterday I got everythign completely finalized for powdercoating. Nate and I fixed a dent in my swingarm using some creative means and we welded on and tapped the spool mounts for the swingarm. We also tapped the mounts for the frame sliders. Everythign is in it's nice little pile and next monday it will be getting painted I can't wait.shredex wrote:uuuuuuuupppppdatttteeeeee!

Re: Zero9243's Rebuild (New Pics 6/10/2009)
The only bolt I had with the right thread pitch was like 4" long. I just wanted to show what it would look like with a puck there. It will probably be a different puck too. That was one I made up for something else but had lying about for the demonstration.mxryder21 wrote:dude, tell me that bolt aint tightened all the way or your gonna use a different puck for those frame sliders! that frameslider mount idea is badass though... hopefully it works!

Re: Zero9243's Rebuild (New Pics 6/10/2009)
There used to be a giant dent in his swingarm. That was the extent of the fix. We pulled it out as smooth as we could with a slide hammer and then filled in the low spots with some weld.Genesis wrote:Looking good. I Like those frame sliders. what are the first two pictures of?
