Well, thank you for the compliment!

im tempted to try this out .. now the undertail .. did u have to cut anythng from it or the underside of the airtech tail?
what did u use to cut the Airtech tail with ? and did u have to glass anything or reshape as far as where the taillight fits and meets the tailend ?
the VR HAS to be moved ? will it work in stock setting or i take it the undertail wont fit .

Fropleyquark I would be extremely careful about running your VR like that. That baby sucks as it is and you've removed the main cooling from it. (aluminum backplate) My guess is that puppy will fry very soon and take some electrical with it. If you want to run it there use a newer VR with a full heatsink.

Yes and yes. I cut some length from the undertail. Probably about 7". When I find the pic, I'll post it.

I used a hand grinder to do a lot of the cutting. I also used my Rotozip with different bits on it. Yes, you will have to do quite a bit of glass work to get it to shape to the tail light. I would definitely do it again. Wasn't too hard.

I have the updated VR and so mine is under the tail. Doesn't get much airflow, so it is a bit of a concern. I'm thinking about putting my CPU fan on it.
