I may be wrong but it think this is a very successful attempt at humor. I doubt if Rog and the Monster Kawi team would let someone pose and hang off the bike..but i guess i could be wrong.. i still thinks its funny as hells

i just fingered i ham up the story a wee bit. the broken photobucket links are there to make the unreal seem a little more reasonable. no way would any pro race team let some schmuck like me tool around on their race machine -- well, maybe after the race... i think they tear everything down, inspect everything and rebuild for every race. we did have some close encounters with the red bull girls though. they kept giving out free ones, and i, kept drinking 'em! heh heh...

Well I suppose that depends on the schmuck in question I had the privelege of riding with Kenny Roberts on John Kowzinski's (sic) GP bike at brands hatch way back on the day of champions having spent the day with him & Kevin Schwantz and that era of racers in Kevin's GP motor home , tossing stories & drinks around.

The only thing I regret that day was not having a camera with me.
