Not sure what else to call it... but it is an FZR on a random website.

I was watching this awful Dolph Lundgren movie earlier this week called Direct Contact. He rides a ZX10 for a while, but when go to a steady cam 'stunt scene' its obviously an FZR!

Here are clips that I pulled from that movie, Direct Contact. Look at the time stamps. It goes from showing the bike he is on to the "right foot" cam. Same bike?

I had the misofortune at watching that movie and noticed the swap, that was possibly the worst motorcycle chase in history. The zx10 couldn't get traction on the wet brick roads and was sliding all over the place so it turned into a painfully slow chase through some eastern european town. Also just noticed the kawi rider is wearing black boots, the yamaha rider is wearing brown. I think they knew this one wasn't oscar bound

here's another, I laugh that it's behind what looks like a gs500 which it would kill

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ufwb3qvsgU

look for it at around 41 seconds

just noticed the FZR doesn't even race, I think that may be an older Buell in the race against the gs

I checked that out on the "Alarm, looks to be a decent idea, I think he is going to have alot of people popping resistors, and capacitors. Like where his head is going tho. Bike is pretty clean as well......Looks like he has a older style upper fairing on it as the intake tubes are the lower fox eye. atleast it appears that way to my eyes, either way Great find man!...... :headbang:

Nope that's pretty much a stock FZR 90+, (dual pots) Do I have to tell you that the 89 model had single pot front calipers? If so continue reading.

91/92 FZR 600's in America had lower intake tubes and a single headlight, in Europe and the rest of the world the single headlamp with lower tubes ran from 92-93, The Fox Eye you speak of came out in 94. In America it was the called the YZF 600, in Europe it doned the name FZR 600R. Do you even know what those tubes are for? I've read posts that say they cool the frame  Its not confirmed but I think they supply or help to supply cold air to the airbox, colder air is more dense = more O2, I could be wrong tho

Its definitely not a FOX EYE...

I'm posting this with no ability to back myself but when I was doing research for my college speech I was on either tailofthedragon.com or dealsgap.com and they had a picture from the 90s of a guy on an FZR. Anyway in the deals gap store they had the same photo and I took a pic of it. Unfortunately next to it was the same bike wrecked. He apparently had the record for a while.

Chris.

it's at 38 minutes in, there's some old Suzuki in there too but who cares about that

edit: correcting myself, paused it until I got a better view (black bikes at night) and saw it said suzuki and had dual exhaust on one. Not sure what model but it obviously had good taste in design cues

and Chris, that's horrible since I've scoured the tree of shame and not found any fzr parts. This trip I broke my streak of always having something break up there, let's hope that's starting a new streak that'll last a long long time
