Chicago International Motorcycle Show pictures

Post by thatkid »

So Dillon and I and some other friends decided to hit up the show last weekend. I can't say there was a ton I was very interested in but there were a few pretty cool bikes or bits. Here are some pictures from the show.

My wishlist bike.

Dillon on the Brawler. This was a sweet build. Very well done.

Then there was Eric Buell's bike. Holy hell was this bike filled with carbon. It was also pretty damn sexy.

Don't ask why Dillon was always the test subject. He just liked to climb on things I guess. This was the Can-Am Commander. Pretty slick. Not only did it have a mini pick up bed, it had storage under that AND it was a dump bed. There there was the air adjustable fox shocks from inside the cab.

One of the custom entries for the biker build off.

This thing had risers that were about a foot long to bring the bars back to you.

Dillon striking a pose in the Icon jacket.

Ducatis new beast. BTW, Ducati is for sale in case anyone has a spare 1.32 Billion lying around...

Dillon rocking the 50cc this time.

Another biker build off entry. You should all be able to guess this bike. Although why it's in a build off I don't know.

A cool little Norton.

A horrible example of what Americans love to do to awesome handling track bike.

One sexy Japanese race bike.

A slick little way to store your registration.

A cool little yam 250.

And finally, the whole point of going! And I'm not talking about the bike!
Image

A lot of the pictures I took were more for specific aspects of a bike to give me ideas. Sorry I don't have a lot of full bike shots. I've realized I dislike giant conventions like these so we didn't spend a huge amount of time there.

I'm hoping next year to be in the build off. Just didn't have the time this year to get anything ready for it.
