Look what i got

Post by reallyniceguy »

So after a few months riding my fzr 600 I decided I needed something with a bit less miles and with a little more power. Now Im not a person who drives like an ass for the most part so I think ill be ok. Ive taken the rider course and all that blah blah heres the pic. Its an 03 fz1r 1000cc supposebly a similar engine to the r1. Has some huevitos. I think somewhere along 120 to 120 hp at the wheel. That thing in the back for the detachable trunk.

Nice choice. More usable power and more comfort.

I got it for 3500 but add all the dealer fees, taxes, registration. it was around 4500.

it has 30k miles tho, not sure if thats bad. This bike is crazy fast and does not get me tired.

A very nice 'n' tasty machine. A lad at work has one, supposed to be much nicer all round than the latest uber-compact Fazer thou.

My next project is a very elderly Yam XS250, which was recently unearthed by archaeologists - I see "rare old beast and worthy project" where everyone else sees "clagged up old piece of veritable shite".

Enjoy your new beastie. You keeping the FZR600 too?

My friend has an FZ6 and it darn near keeps up with my GSXR600 at the track. Had no idea that they had so much power.

Yeah, if I don't find one for the right price, I'll probably get a FZ6
