Hey Dillon we still need to find a piece of aluminum for the D&D slip on We need to get that thing sold once it's repacked.

Well I'm back after way too long. I have gotten work done just nothing picture worthy really. TK and I got my frame ready for powdercoating, and now all that's left is to get the spool mounts put on my swingarm and then my rear wheel/frame/swingarm/headers/engine brackets will all go in for a flat black powdercoat. Should be happening in the next couple of weeks.

We wanted to implement some sort of permanent fix for the frame sliders and we came up with the idea in the pics below. TK fab'd the bracket and we got some bar stock and welded that to the bracket. We had to widen the holes in the frame slightly so the bar would fit through the frame. The only thing to do now is to get the frame sliders and drill and tap the bars. As you can see from the pics the frame sliders will screw into the bar sticking slightly out from the frame. If the bike tips it will land on the frame slider and the bracket that was made should take that impact instead of bending the frame. I guess we won't really know until i drop it but it seems like it should work :whistle

Dillon forgot these.

He's so serious and safe when he works.

I, on the other hand, am not so safe when I work.
