Camera mount test YouTube video

Post by TomGun »

So I just installed my camera mount yesterday and took the Fizzer for a little rip. Thought you guys might be interested in taking a look. Most of it is kinda boring, but I know how much everyone likes pictures and videos around here so here ya go...

That's pretty darn stable. What mount and what camera are you using?

Any way to raise it up a little?

Got this one on eBay for $29.95. I agree it is a little low. I'm going to try and modify it somewhat and see if I can get it up higher. The good news is that it will also mount on my new Ducati ST4.

Nice, looks good. I do agree though a little higher would be great. And it is super stable.

Thanks!!A lot of it has to do with the configuration on the FZR and the size of the camera. If I put my video camera on it would be up at least 2" higher, and would be perfectly lined up. I just tried it on my Duc, and it seems to be a lot higher. I'll give it another go when this rain stops!!! Good news is that having a the tinted zero gravity windscreen doesn't seem to affect the front view on the FZR.

Nice thing about it being lower is you don't get much wind noise. cool videos, makes me wish my bike were out.
