I don't think you'll need to grind that part down. I think if we just move the brake torque arm so it only mounts on one side you'll get the clearance you need without having to grind anything. With a flat bolt head you'll gain more than an 1/8" and shouldn't rub anymore. I'll get you some drerwings and show you in 80 strokes.YAM93 wrote:TK- i think the 6th picture down is the part i was talking to you about.... the rear brake caliper goes on there right ? the other hole is for the rear axle ... the part where the silver bolt would attach to the brake arm is what i need grinded down ... take like 1/8" of metal off is all i need, then re-paint ?
don't know if you can do that or not. or if that part is even for sale... Let me know.
yeah the grinding sparks pictures are wicked like what a KISS concert should be.
The jokes remind me of Ron White's joke about "Broke-Dick Fountain".
oh...... why did you jam a piece of metal thru your tongue ?
metaphor for life....... a balancing act by young Brad Pitt. i've never done that... is it a new sport ? what's it called ?
enough questions for now
oh yeah, nice SCOPPER, keep up the good work. Get that new front tire yet ? ...oh yeah, i hope the SCOPPER owner is going to have some LONG arms.
I don't deny that grinding sparks are cool. It's just that Dillon like to use MY camera near the hot whizzing metal bits.
I've had metal in my tongue going on 12 years now. It was new when I did it and now I swear you can get it done in the mall with your ears. It honestly just feels weird to not have it in. That and the amount of chicks that have wanted to kiss me for just the tongue piercing alone makes it worth it.
The sport is called Slack-lining. Same idea as a tightrope except this one is a flat piece of webbing and it has slack to it so it makes it harder since there is sway up and down and side to side. It's been around for a good while but mostly in the outdoorsy/climbing circles. It's starting to make a mainstream mark though. A cheap form of entertainment for hours on end. Crazy good folk can do backflips and shit on the line. They also have one set up in Yosemite about a mile up. You clip in with a harness but still, if you look down, you see the ground about a mile from you. It would be cool but I think I might shit myself too.
Thanks on the scopper! The seat will be moved forward a bit but yeah you are going to be stretched out. It will make it more chopperesque that way. I may have to tweak the bars a bit once I get everything set and I see how it's really going to sit but for now I'm just going with it. No front tire yet. Last time I tried every tire that would fit was sold out. Haven't had the time to try and order it again yet. I'll have to shortly though. I need to force myself to get down there and get busy on that thing.
