Here's my sob story...
I've owned and loved this bike for two years, and I rode it from Seattle to San Diego for a short term job. On the ride down I had pretty much decided on moving on to an adventure bike to get back to my dirt bike roots. I knew that 2nd gear was slipping, and I had a replacement engine waiting for me when I returned to Seattle in August, I thought I could get by with skipping 2nd gear...but one day on my way to work the transmission seized. With a broken heart I loaded it on a flatbed trailer and it now sits in my apartment garage.
The good:
-Carbs are been tuned with factory pro emulsion tubes and jetted for a K&N filter and aftermarket exhaust - recently synched with the float heights set in the wet. I loved how smooth the powerband was.
-Chain, Front and Rear Sprockets have less than 2k miles on them
-Clutch disks and springs have less than 2k miles on them
-Tires are 1 year old, around 3k miles on them
-Upgraded Voltage Regulator
-Battery is 2 years old, wired with fused SAE connectors for a battery tender, I use the same SAE connection to run an accessory socket to the front for a GPS. I'd throw in the motocentric tank bag I use and the GPS as well.
-Fuel Tank was POR-15'd
-New Clutch and Throttle Cables
-Zero Gravity Double Bubble Windshield in light smoke
-Aftermarket Aluminum mirrors, anodized black (I love these things...)
-Airhawk Seat Cushion (really nice for long rides, way better than gel)
-Low profile front turn signals
The bad:
-All fairings have some sort of damage (scratches, sheared, etc), well besides the left rear and back.
The ugly:
Needs a new bottom end
Headers are flaking, Yoshimura pipe is scratched
Bonus:
If someone picks the bike up whole, I'll give you first dibs on the parts I have up in Seattle!
-FZR 600 engine
-Braced Swingarm
-R6 rear shock
-Rear hugger
-Factory pro quick shift kit
-Excellent Tail fairings
-Other misc stuff (intake boots, etc)
Please make me an offer - I'm in San Diego, 92108. I head back up to Seattle the beginning of August, so I'd like to make this happen before then.
