Ok guys. I'm offering up my 89 FZR600. I'm in the Air National Guard and was offered an aircrew spot in a different state. It's gonna take about a year and 1/2 of training in different parts of the country and a shit ton of studying. Needless to say that riding or wrenching isn't gonna be a priority during that. I don't want to pay to leave it in storage wasting away or pay to tow it around with me plus the additional costs of insurance and reg's. Basically, it's lifes gonna be better with someone else and it's less money I need to pay monthly on a storage unit.

I'd like to get $1500 for it but am open to offers - it's an 89 frame and fork setup that I bought off a forum member (Memphis FZR was his name I think) a couple years ago. All the running gear is from a 96 that I had with a bent rear subframe. The plastics where pieced together through this forum and getting lucky on CL. Pretty much this bike is a product of this forum, built from a wrecked bike to a reliable rider.

I have the lower stanchions to put on the 89 forks to bolt on the bigger 2 pot brakes, which I have as well. Here is the Craigslist ad for it. Clean Ohio title as well.

I need it to be gone pretty soon or not at all. Once it's in storage it'll be waiting for me when I get back. I have a truck and trailer and I can deliver within about 2 hours or even more for the right deal but only after I got some kind of deposit. All I'd want for delivery is the gas it's gonna take to get it to ya.

I think my price is reasonable but I'm willing to work to get her to a new home. I think that any running and reliable sport bike is worth atleast $1500. I would rather see her goto someone who will ride her. HA!

If you're someone who'd like the bike but are not in the local area I'll work with you. Getting detail pictures, delivery and what not. Just please don't waste my time. I'll consider all forum members offers first as well, unless someone makes an offer that I can't turn away.

Thanks guys,
Smitty

P.S.
Don't be afraid to PM if you're even remotely interested.

Edit: Changed up what I had listed.
