im selling my bike after I get my new back tire installed.

89' FZR 600 frame
93' FZR 600 motor and everything else (rims, mounts, ext.)
R6 Digital guage
R6 VR Power regulater
92" FZR 600 front end
R1 airtech tail fairing
99' R6 tail light
6x9 Sony speaker with LED's in the rear fairing (Ipod mount currently being fiberglassed into tank fairing)

have r6 swingarm to go with it.

This bike runs strong and has a clean FL title in hand.
the right fairing is cracked in a few places from when I dropped it in the dirt standing about a month ago. Needs paint job.
I am trying to get my hands on a newer bike that can keep up with the newer r6's and gsxr 600's. So, I would love to trade for a honda cbr 600rr, gsxr 600/750, yamaha r6/r1/fzr1000, or a kawasaki 636
OR, Ill sell it for $2000 obo.
pm me for more info.

With all the problems you posted about this bike I would say good luck selling it here. Also you still have the '89 swinger on there.

lol, yea, but the all the problems were from a low battery. my fault.
the only problem is that the bike starts in all gears. but thats not so bad.
whats bad about it though is that I didnt rewire it or anything to do that. it just did it after I adjusted the clutch.

That's a good looking bike, I don't think you'll have too much trouble finding a buyer for the price, even this time of year.

is it possible to put an r6 motor on the fzr??

the only reason that I want to get rid of it is because its just not fast enough.
I cant keep up with pretty much any other bike. I would like to get a newer more powerful one.

have you redlined every gear out and top the needle on the speedo , mine wont keep up with any bike really i might beat a 250 but really their fast enough just not the krazy burst of speed everyone wishes they had , maybe some mechanical mods and you will almost keep up , they only place i get blown away is on the freeways lol

thats pretty much what it was, we were crossing this long ass 8 lane bridge and no cars were on it and the three guys I was riding with just blew me away and I got the bike in 6th gear full throttle and it wasnt keeping up, they left me in the dust, luckly, there was a light about 2 miles ahead that I caught up to them at.
the one guy had 200? r6, the other had a 750 gsxr, and the other was some sort of suzuki, I didnt reconize it. but it was fast.

maybe you need to change your gearing add a full ehuast and some kinda jet kit , then im sure they wont pull on you as hard , i have a stock everyhting except for ignition advancer which i dont really think makes that big of a differnce unless u got all the fukk exhuast one jets and usually outweigh the rest by almost 70 lbs give or take and still they dont pull on me that hard

well, I would have to say that we all were going 90 when they dicided to just full throttle it, my bike only goes about 140 I believe and it takes time to get to that speed, and the r6 gets to like 170 and with more power.

why do you need to go so fast on the street? :cop:

a brand new stock r6 tops out at about 160 most brand new 600's are in the 150-160 range
