Background:
I am selling my 1996 Yamaha FZR600 because I have to move in May and will not have anywhere to put the bike. I also live in the D.C. area and do not feel comfortable riding around here with all the traffic and idiots. I have owned this bike for 9 years. I haven't ridden it much since I moved to the D.C. area 3 years ago. I just ride it around the neighborhood once a month to keep it running well. I really want to sell this bike to someone who can appreciate it for what it is. That is why I am so glad that I found this forum because this seems like the perfect place to find people that will appreciate this bike.

Condition:
The previous owner let his son ride the bike once and he dropped it pulling out of the driveway and there are scratches on the exhaust can, the case cover on the right side, the right mirror, and the right handle bar. The scratches on the mirror and handle bar are pretty minor. You can see the scratches on the exhaust and case cover in the pictures provided. Other than that there is just normal wear and tear on the bike but the plastics and body are in really good shape. The bike also needs new brakes. Other than that you can see that this bike is in great shape. It also runs really well and only has 14,400 miles. It starts right up every time. Tires are almost new and the battery is brand new.

Terms of Sale:
I would prefer cash but I can set up a paypal account to make it easier and more honest if you prefer.
Price is $2800 or best offer.

Pictures (wet marks on the driveway are water since I had just washed it):
