1997 FZR600R For Sale $1200

Hi. Found this forum while searching for an old FZR board I frequented. I've got a stock 1997 FZR600R that I've owned for the last six years that I need to sell. Just bought a V-Strom for longer rides so I don't need the FZR. The bike was mainly used for commuting and gets great gas mileage, should be 50+. Very reliable bike as I still ride it even on very cold mornings.
I bought the bike and rebuilt the top end with new pistons/rings, seals/gaskets, and freshened up the head. Factory Pro emulsion tubes were installed in the carbs along with a fresh clean and rebuild. Last fall I installed an RK chain and sprocket kit(rivet type) with the original spec gearing. A new Yuasa battery and BT-014 tires were also fitted at this time. Bike still runs great and does not smoke, leak, or use oil. Always starts very easily. Lower fairings are in pretty tough shape but they're still serviceable. Overall the bike still looks like a really good representation of a stock FZR600. Everything works and it has the stock turn signals and undertail. Mileage is around 27,400 and currently being ridden. Shell Rotella 15w40 is the only oil I've ever used.
New state inspection as of yesterday(November 7, 2012). North Carolina requires an inspection within 90 days of registration so anyone that buys this bike will be ready to register right away.
I'm located near Asheboro just south of Highway 64, very easy to get to. I need to get $1200 for the bike and that includes a Haynes manual, factory tool kit, 2 keys, and a clean title. My email is ldheli2005@yahoo.com since I may not be on here regularly.
