1990 FZR600 project/parts bike. Your choice

Post by rodsatheart »

Ok folks. Walking away from this project.
1990 FZR600 Project or parts bike. The choice is yours. Engine seams to run fine. Have never had it on the road. Stripped it down, sanded, painted and cleared the frame just to find out that it is bent in the front 16inches. Short by about 3/8" or slightly more than 10mm. Was told most of it was there and in decent shape when I got it. WRONG!!!! Engine has been scrubbed clean and painted high temp black. I have recently purchased both upper fairing stays, air intake pipes (painted black and cleared), stock air box, good rear caliper with good pads, Fuel petcock (for the knob), four of lower fairing brackets (just lacking one of the lower brackets now), choke lever and cable, tank cover in excellent condition. From what I can see all I needed before the frame incident was the front fairings and prob some small misc bolt and stuff. Tank cover i sanded and ready for first coat of primer, side panels and tail plastic need sanding. I will include what paint I have left that was used on the frame along with clear, engine paint, and 1200 ceramic exhaust I was going to use on header if you want. Rear tire is good, but will need new front.
I really don't want to part out as I will need the space for my new project.
I have a clear title for what it is worth. The frame can be straightened, I'm just not going down that road and will not rebuild it with a salvage title frame.
I have about 600 to 700 in it including the purchase of the bike. Really need to get 550. I know that it can be pieced out for more, just need it gone now. Going to start reassembly to save room. If you want as is call me asap.
If you want pictures text me and I will send them. 479-243-6656 cell. email bjsickler@sbcglobal.net
I am located in Mena, Arkansas
