- Foot brake is missing switch, spring, wiring assembly. Not sure if wires are still there to hook it up or if they need to be re run. I know the assembly new is like $16 at my Yamaha dealer. The foot brake works just doesn't light up the brake light. Hand brake lights it up though.
- Headlight has highbeam only and points off to the left (think police spotlight..
) It can be adjusted but i have not had the time to take it out and do myself (its siliconed in)- I got the blinkers working but you may not like the way the front ones are put on. I just put them where there were holes already on the fairing. To work properly I had to wire them from the back blinkers to the front. Currently the front connections are welded so to take front fairing off all the way you would have to undo this. I mounted the front blinkers where the reflectors are on the front fairing.
- Speedometer is not working. I just put on a new cable thinking that might be the problem but it wasn't ;-( The bike is still clocking the miles when I ride but not showing you the speed so its in the assembly somewhere. Previous girl who owned it said it stopped working when she hit a bump.
I am not sure if anything else is really wrong with it since I am no mechanic and this was my first bike but the fairings and frame are clean. It tipped over taking it out of storage so there are slight scratched on left hand side but nothing else that I saw when I had the fairings off last year. It has race fairings on it and I have removed the zebra print fabric. Like I said I enjoy riding this bike but can't get her where she needs to be mechanically and I know someone else out there could do the proper work to her and enjoy her even more.
