I found out that you can post a ad on craigs list to advertise the site for free.

Here is what I posted on the Omaha craiglist.org site:

FZR Owners! (World Wide)

Are you the owner of a FZR 250cc-1000cc?

Why not join a forum to keep in touch with other FZR owners to help you out.

http://www.fzrarchives.com & http://www.fzronline.com

This is not a ad for money nor any monetary gains. This is just for the support of FZR owners.

YZF owners are welcome to join too.

Post it up for your area! If you get flagged.... don't worry.... just post it up agian in a day or two. There is nothing agianst craiglist policies that keep us from wanting to help other FZR owners.

I typically email each individual who is selling on there. I let them know htey can POST it here, but also make sure they pass our information along to the next owner.

Everything helps!

Just don't get frustrated cause it does get flagged.

I tried 5 times to post the ad on KC MO craiglist and each time got flagged almost immediately.

I even posted rule #4 stating that they allow this. But to no avail. Oh well.

I like your idea Rage of emailing the individual owners of FZR ads.

I'm surprised eBay let me get away with it. But, this is a not for profit website...

If anyone wants to post the FZROnline.com logo in their eBay or Craigslist ads, we'd surely appreciate it.

The logo is available here: http://fzronline.com/fzronline_ebay.jpg

It is 800x207 pixels:
