Link works fine. Get that fella back up and running again. We need him around here.

*The link worked earlier... not sure why it's not now. I'll try an eBay search.

Darrin,
You're the guy responsible for getting George involved in FZROnline? If so thank you it keeps him active in his favourite field bikes & engineering problems. I really thought he would do something drastic he was that depressed after the operation went wrong and left him in a bad way.
He is still very frustrated that he cannot do as much as he did before the Op but he settles down at the keyboard and he laughs a lot more the way he used to. Laughter is good medicine.
I think I got the link wrong so I found it again (before Geo starts barking at me LoL) and it now works once more.
As for getting him back I want him around too, our 30th wedding anniversary is only a year or so away and I miss him asking for his perpetual cups of Tea whilst he types away or digging thro a stack of books and notes

Looks like that guy will make the gauge faces for 33 pounds. I'm sure he would need the dimensions of the FZR gauges.

Darrin,
here is the good news
quote:-
I can do any dials for any bike, though if they're all slightly different
fit then it has a big effect on price.
A 'one-off' is typically £43, after that just £23 per kit.
So if you wanted a kit making, one of you would have to send your original
dials over first.
If you wanted ten kits between you, then that would be £43 for the first
kit, and £207 for the other nine kits, making a total of £250. I would then
discount you to £220 for all ten kits.
Kind regards
Will, WB Instruments
unquote.
So the office manager in me says that is 22 ukp per head (36 USD at the moment without postage I know George has some pet company he deals with for big stuff but I think this can go in a bubble bag type envelope at tops 7ukp
Get back to me and I will tell George what is going on as I know he wants a set (good coming home present )

Camala,
thanks for keeping the guys up to date with my wheeling & dealing (and for letting me use the keyboard EXACTLY 0.5 hours a day LoL)
Please see Darrin's (AKA RageDigital) post for more details:-
