The need for owners info

Hi,
as I have noted elsewhere the average owner is fairly clueless about what bits are on their bike and if they sell it they lay them selves open for name calling.
My uncle who taught me to wrench bikes/cars 50 years ago made me make up a Log Book for each machine so that I could refer back to what I had done to it (good for racers).
When I started mod'ing bikes I kept two books one that got passed on to the new owner and one I kept (since as I said earlier most are not aware of their own machines "bits")
Of late we as a Forum have had quite a big influx of new comers to the FZR and a couple are really struggling.
So may I suggest to you all and to the new comers in particular to start making your own log books for your bike & keeping track of the changes so you do not make the next owner struggle as you have done
