WIKI UPDATE:

Post by yamaha_george »

People,
i found a couple of interesting web pages on various bike makes & models Front and Rear axle diameters that might be good for any one changing wheels styles etc.

Who ever compiled this list forgot to measure lengths of axle (DOH) :headscratch: so if any one has knowledge that can be added I will (since I ripped the page ) add lengths to and then paste the details on my site OR/& this site so we can move the knowledge base forward :-}

Link? And axel length is irrelevant. The fork to fork, or swingarm open distance is more important than axel length as the thickness of different swingarms and fork legs may vary.

FS,
Err sorry the axle length is irrelevant? :headscratch:

well i sure would like to know it & compare the axle length with the distance of the swing arm I have in my bike before I spend my hard earned cash for what ever axle on E bay.

Link ??? if you are interested go look, spoon feeding I do not do .

I already looked through the wiki and couldn't find it. Care to guide me a little bit?

I am sorry I shouldn't have said it was irrelevant. It's relevant. However that other information would make it more useful.
