Nice craftsmanship, but i would bet the, ahh "dynamic" rake and trail would present an interesting experience hitting a bump at speed , or mid corner under compression....

... and how static is YOUR suspension? I guarantee your telefork collapses / tucks under bump and brake. That's the enormous advantage of a girder fork (obviously not executed here), that rake and trail can be reduced, maintained, or even INCREASED under bump, and these factors can be modified / adjusted quickly and easily in the pits.

ahh-- mine most certainly does, but, according to James Parker, (who has written a paper or two on suspensions) "parallel point" front suspensions are handling nightmares. Thats why he used a triangulated setup in the RADD front end.

I have to wonder how much of that was the rider being so used to a front end where the steering quickened significantly under braking. My soggy brain wants to say that Tony Foale did some research on this as well, with various results. I have nothing intelligent to comment, just that he did research... :duh:

Good point.
I drove a GTS1000, and i hated it__ it really scared me on the brakes in a corner.
