TIP for cleaning white wheels

Maybe this is general knowledge and I'm just an idiot. I spent three hours cleaning my bike this morning, which is pointless because it will be nasty and full of bugs in a week anyways. I did however find the best cleaner for cleaning off my white wheels, which I had previously given up on as being uncleanable. Goo Gone,
http://www.googone.com/googone/catalog/ ... aners.aspx, the citrus stuff you use to remove sticker residue and stuff. I didn't even have to let it sit, just wiped it on and all the built up grease, chain lube, dirt, hooker blood, etc. came off instantly. I'm gonna buy a gallon of this stuff, it made my wheels look like they're off the showroom floor.

took it right off, you wouldn't believe!
FTR, I've got the Goo Gone Spray gel. It smells better than regular goo gone, oranges instead of lemons.

i'll have to check that out. That will probably work great on my pedal bicycle parts considering I'm paying like $12 for a (24oz.?) bottle of that crap.

I used a product called Awesome that I get from the dollar store and then go over that with car wash and then give it a low pressure spray with the hose. Cleans em right up.

I used that stuff to clean up an old Mac Tools tool chest and it took the paint right off with the grease! Good thing I didn't care too much. I would say dilute that stuff a little or have a towel at the ready to start wiping as soon as you spray.
