swingarm spools...aluminum or delrin?

what ya think is best? i found a guy making white or black delrin ones for $7 with mounting hardware!
ive bought things from him in the past for atvs and he made nice stuff.

I guess my question is - why Delrin? There can't be that big of a weigh savings over the aluminum and the aluminum ones are stronger I would imagine. They're both fairly inexpensive.

probably to make them double as swingarm sliders better, the AL can catch easier on concrete instead of sliding like the delrin should be more likely to do

yeah, i like the black delrin ones, got some on my Honda. 7 bucks.... damn, he should go into business.

on a stock fizzer swingarm we have to weld these on don't we ? i never noticed a hole for them , didn't look too hard tho .

I think Thatkid is designing some bolt-on types, but I have not seen any drawings or photos yet.

all ya do is weld on some bar stock, drill a hole tap it ands then use 6mm (yamaha) or 8mm (kawasaki suzuki) or 10mm (honda) spools..end of story.
