FZR 600 Intake question

hello, i have a 95' 600, when i bought it it had some real crappy K&n air filters on the carbs but i just picked up an air box for it... i need to know what hose im supposed to put on the left side of the box on the bottom... i have no loose hoses anywhere if someone can give me some info on this quick it would be greatly appreciated.... it has to be on their or my bike loses powere at like 6-8k please help asap, thanks... I need to know where that hose goes to, i think it goes to the nipple sticking out of the carb bit i could be wrong

I have a 95 also and the only hose I have going to my airbox is the one that goes to the tranny. It's right in the middle of my airbox too. Do you have a picture?

That's the drain hose. A small hose runs from there down in front of the shock-with the battery vent hose.
It's there so that any condensation/water that enters the airbox can drain when the bike is on sidestand.
It SHOULD have a check valve inline in the hose as it 'ports' into the clean area of the airbox.
And, it MUST be capped (vacuum cap) or regulated with a hose/check valve combo-otherwise unfiltered air will enter your engine.
