Cagers strike again

I was on my way home from Kent off 212th on Thursday, minding my own business when it happened....a Roles Royce pulled out in front of me out of no where.
I was going the speed limit - 45 mph, the other 2 lanes were stopped, the carpool land on the right that I was traveling on was clear and the lady driving the car decided that she needed to pull into a driveway in front of me.
There was no where to go, all I could do was try to stop from 45 to zero in about 6 feet...
Here's the old girl getting put into my truck from the tow yard.
After looking more when I got home, the forks are shot as well as the radiator, front rim, basically everything from the engine foreword.
Still going to the Dr for neck and back pain, knee pain and various other issues.
Unfortunately I will be a cager for a while, once I get my medical issues figured out I may ride again..
Be safe out there....
Things can happen that are out of your control.

Can we assume you hit the Rolls?
Sure hope you don't have any injuries that would prevent you from riding in the future.

You thinking insurance is going to total it out, Just asking because you have some good parts you could still get some money off of, and then the fact that the Rolls might buy you a new bike. But none the less this doesn't mean anything to you if you are hurt. I hope you recover well.
Chris.

I plan on parting her out I think unless someone wants to buy her the way she is.
2 recks in 14 months, I think I'm done for a while.

Best of luck with recovery (and the insurance companies!).
I've been following this site >
http://www.msgroup.org/forums/mtt/default.asp < for a while and it has definitely saved my ass a few times.
The guys on there are
real effen serious, and don't effe around.
Ref this situation:

Not to point the finger at you, as it was legally the Rolls fault, but...
An old racing buddy of my dad's always said: no matter what the situation, it's always partly the riders fault.
It's a responsibility that comes with the sport, like owning a firearm: there are
a lot of idiots out there.
Again, best wishes to you Newb.

I bet you would get a lot more off of her parting out. Plus add that on to what the insurance company gives you and you'll have a little buffer money.
Chris.

Hopefully You are not too seriously injured and will make a full recovery, two wrecks in such a short space of time will make you dubious. The bike looks worse than it is, and won't take to much fixing up, take your time deciding what your guna do with her. Personally I would spend time slowly restoring her to her former glory (I would find that rewarding and therapeutic). Whatever You decide it's only a bike that can be repaired/replaced, You however are far more important, I wish You well in your recovery.

now it really looks angry,
hold off on selling until you've cooled down, my one wreck I parked the bike not sure what I was going to do but the dreams of rolling through corners kept coming until I was riding again. Don't want to sell something you'll just have to buy again.

That suc+s. You have a wreked bike, smached yourself up too,and from what the isurance will pay you it will be dificult to bring the bike back on the road. Not fair at all. I hope the rolls is smashed up. Get well, and I am sure you will be back on a bike again. Give it time, you'll see....

I appreciate everyone's sympathy, I'm still here so it's not to bad.
I'm sure once I heal up it will be hard for me to not ride, I've been doing it since I was 11 so its apart of who I am.
I'm lacking patience at this point and want to be back to normal now, but it takes time...
Again, thank you all for the good wishes.
I will keep you updated on how everything turns out. I still have my graphics that I was going to install this winter.
Here's what it looks like, I thought it would be unique.
If I rebuild her, this is what will go on.
