I just had to say that it sucks when you want to hack up a bike and mod it but your inner self won't let you because it's too nice of a bike in it's stock form. I really wanna cut up the tail and do some other mods I did on a previous FZR but this thing is so damn clean I'll hate myself for ruining it.

there are a couple of guys that have road rash ones for sale, you could buy them and change the stock ones up like you want. And then keep the original ones to change back, or sell like they are.

Chris.

if i'm altering anything on my bike, i'll buy it again and alter that one instead; so i can return to stock at any point. Thats the only reason i've not polished the frame. Mind, I now have quite a few bits stored away for that possible change back to stock and space is getting tight. :headscratch:

I don't want to spend the money on spares. I will probably just hack it up and ride it. Then I'll sell the bike dirt cheap next spring and get a CBR.

I love to go on really long rides. This new bike makes it scary though. My tires are really dry rotted and weak. Tight corners at high speed have become speaking sessions with God. Had a funeral and a birthday party in the same week so money got tight real fast. I want so much crap for this bike but I'm going serious budget now. If you want to ship, just give me a quote it's not a problem.

Sack the modding your first priority should be the tyres!

Agree absolutely with Mawler - you DON'T want to be doing any asphalt-induced mods... :dubious:
