Just found this while hunting in my junk, forgot i had it. When i got my 600 the MOT was due, the rear shock was covered in oil so i bought this off eBay, cost around £10. i think it said FZR750 rear shock, turned out the engine oil level was to high and spitting the stuff everywhere.

I've just checked the wiki "rear_shock_lengths" 600 is "11.938” eye to eye" this measures roughly 14.25" eye to eye, spring length is 9" approx (set on position 1), both eye's are 12mm approx. The top spring adjustment has 7 clicks, the lower damping adjustment has 30ish clicks (its stiff). I'm looking @ a R6 rear shock upgrade, but that wont be until next year, i may just try thro this on outa curiosity.

I want to say it's a Genesis FZR750/1000 (87-88). The fishe doesn't give a good view of the bottom. I know that the bottom adjuster on my rear shock (which is an exup) is the same as that one.
